Saying Goodbye

We had to say goodbye to our black lab "Roc" yesterday. He was 11 years old. We got him when he was 6 weeks old, the first year we were married. It was hard saying bye. It still doesn't feel real. The kids took it ok. Emma was a little more upset. Their response was "when can we get another dog?" My response was "absolutely not, we still have 2 and that is enough."

1st Day of School

I can't believe Tyler has started the third grade. He is going to a different school this year b/c of rezoning. He was a little nervous going(I was too), but he really liked the school. His teacher taught at his old school last year, so he knew her, which made it a little easier. There's were several kids in his class that he knew. So far, he has had a good week.

Yippee!!

Ok, I have finally figured out blogging after 2 years of starting, thanks to Tonya. We have been a little busy this summer. Tyler has played baseball and softball and Emma has played t-ball. We went on vacation to Destin,Fl. Tyler went with my parents to Virginia. Emma took swimming lessons. I can't believe it is about over and the kids are starting back to school. Here are a couple of pictures of our summer.
